Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actor and producer. She is among the most highly paid actress in Bollywood and she was awarded awards for her efforts. Anushka Sharma's parents were Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a colonel retd. and her mother works as a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka has finished her education at Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma wanted to be journalist or model, but was not a performer. Anushka relocated to Mumbai after completed her graduation and enrolled herself at the Elite Model Management, and was coached by the style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a model for fashion was in 2017, after she modelled with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week after which she was picked by Rodricks for a role in the Spring Summer 2007 collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in several campaigns, including campaigns with Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma along with her modeling career joined an acting school and began giving auditions to films. Anushka appeared in an acting role in a film by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. Anushka Sharma took her time to study and was able to not take the test in impromptu. After that, she signed up for three films with Yash Raj Films. The film in which she appeared played a young woman who got married to a middle-aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das, and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". It received mixed reviews. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she played an Punjabi middle class girl who set up her own company. The movie received positive reviews and proved to be an overnight success. The contract of Anushka's for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed with Band Baaja Baaraat.
